Where is my security?

Most people who buy a franchise have held top management positions in corporate America and have been laid off or downsized. People once believed one of the biggest benefits of working for a large company is the security they offer but corporate America can not claim they provide security anymore.

We have all seen some giants fall in the last year. I just spoke with someone who is now researching franchises because he just got laid off from a big pharmaceutical company. I asked if he ever wanted to be self employed before and he answered, “Yes, I just thought there was too much risk.” Now that some of the biggest and “safest” companies have fallen these past few years, we are left to ponder, “What is safe?” Click here to read more.
