There is an unique trend developing in the franchise industry. While other business may be slower, franchising is getting bigger, faster and better.
According to Darrell Johnson of FRAN data, since 2005, more than 50% of all franchised units are operated by a multi-unit franchisee and 20% of all franchisee own more than one unit. It is expected these numbers will continue to increase.
